Open ControlBird

With the container running, open your browser and navigate to:

http://localhost:3000

You'll see the ControlBird login screen. CE comes with a default administrator account ready to use.

Change Your Password

For security, change the default admin password immediately after your first login. Go to the Permissions Manager app, select the admin user, and update the password.

The ControlBird Desktop

After logging in, the ControlBird desktop appears. This is your workspace for managing devices, building automations, and monitoring your system. The interface includes:

  • Taskbar: Quick access to all apps at the bottom of the screen
  • Desktop: Drag-and-drop workspace for app windows
  • System Tray: Status indicators and notifications
